U12 & U14 Championships

U12 & U14 Championships

The U12 & U14 Championships were played at the wonderful Beaconsfield on Monday 20th August. 32 boys took part and the golf course was in immaculate condition. The U12 title was won by Daniel Butteriss (Wexham Park) after he scored an impressive 80. Just a single stroke back on 81 was Bradley Hopkins (Newbury & Crookham). The net title was won by Jake Valentine (Stoke Park) after he scored a best of the day 63. In second was another Stoke Park player in Billy Wood. Billy’s net score was 70.

The U14 title was won by Tom Stephenson-Green (Frilford Heath) after he scored an excellent 74. Tom will have his name engraved on the same trophy which was won by twice by Eddie Pepperell. In second losing out on countback was last years winner Ben McFadden (Stoke Park). Lyle Mclintock (Temple) sealed the U14’s net prize with a 68. Just a shot back on 69 was George Davies (Wokefield Park).

Our thanks must go to the staff at Beaconsfield Golf Club for allowing the boys to use the golf course and for their hospitality throughout the day. It is really appreciated by all.
