Under 14s Championship

Under 14s Championship

Conor Gough (Stoke Park) achieved a unique double/double by winning the Under 14s title for the second year in a row. He also won the Under 12s Championship last week also for the second year in a row. I doubt we will see this achievement repeated for some time to come.

His victory came after a fine round of 74 at Castle Royle giving him a 2 shot margin over Gregor MacKenzie (Kirtlington) and Thomas Lawton (East Berkshire) with Ryan Walker (Bearwood Lakes) a further shot back. Conor’s 1 under par for the last 7 holes made all the difference as he pulled away from his nearest challengers.
