Up and Down Week for BBO Seniors

Up and Down Week for BBO Seniors

George Wilson’s BBO Senior team started the week brilliantly by beating Essex Seniors at Calcot Park. Wind for George (Calcot Park), Mike Sanders (Beaconsfield), Malcolm Reid (Castle Royle), Mark Simpson (Reading), David Cromie (East Berks) and David Niven (East Berks) couples with halves from Gary Mumford (Woburn) and Ian Oaks (Denham) secured a 7-3 victory.

Unfortunately the team failed to conquer the difficult greens at Alresford Golf Club in Hampshire later in the week. 3 1/2 points out of a possible 10 was not enough for the team to qualify for the Southern Seniors Foursomes final later in the year.
