U16’s V Beds V Herts

U16’s V Beds V Herts

The U16s started the new season with a home fixture at Harewood Downs against Hertfordshire and Bedfordshre. After not only winning their league but also the South Eastern Group Final last year it was going to be hard to reach those standards again this year.  It was a cold, damp day at Harewood Downs but there was no more rain on the day thankfully. Sadly, the team had a tough day losing 1-7 to Herts and 3-5 to Beds. Whilst it was a difficult day, the boys will have learned a lot and will bounce back in their remaining fixtures. Thank you to Harewood Downs for hosting the match and for preparing a great golf course for the match to be played on.
