The Futures Tour started it’s summer swing of events at Sand Martins with a strong field taking part on what was the hottest day of the year. The U12 nett section was won by Harvey Cooper (Huntercombe) with a fine 69. This pipped Cayden Bray (Frilford Heath) on countback. Wining the gross section and continuing his impressive form was Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) with a gross 80. This beat Alex Alder (Castle Royle) by 4 strokes after he fired an 84. 

The U14 nett section was won by home player Oliver Martin (Sand Martins) with 67. This beat Alex Barnett (Ellesborough) by 2 strokes after Alex fired a 69. The gross section was won by Freddie Horner (Goring & Streatley) with an impressive 77. This beat Tom Stephenson Green (Frilford Heath) on countback after he also shot 77. 

The U15 nett section was won by Charlie Roper (The Berkshire) with 72 and this beat another home player, Charlie Lund (Sand Martins) by 2 strokes. The gross section was won by Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) with an impressive 69 (-1). This beat Huw Pearson (Buckingham) by a single stroke after he scored a level par 70.

Well done to all the boys for making round it the heat and thank you to Sand Martins for hosting us for the first time. We hope to be back in the near future.
