Hillman Trophy & Plate Winners

The 2018 Hillman Trophy & Plate Finals were held on Saturday 6th October at Newbury & Crookham. The weather conditions threatened to spoil the day with rain, a strong wind and cold temperatures all afternoon but the course held up and played very well. The Hillman Trophy final was contested between West Berkshire & Harewood Downs with Harewood Downs coming out on top by the margin of 5-2.

The Hillman Plate final was contested between Chesham & Leyhill & Lambourne. A strong Lambourne team were crowned champions as they ran out 6-1 winners. Lambourne’s Captain Martin Savage was presented with the trophy. Commiserations to both of the runners up but they can be proud of their efforts in reaching their respective finals. Thank you to all the Clubs and teams for entering & competing in the event during 2018 and we will be contacting all clubs in due course with further information about how to enter their teams for the 2019 competition.
