Oliver wins U12 Futures Tour

The Futures Tour headed to Maidenhead on Thursday 18th August, it was perfect golfing weather – dry with a little breeze. Kaylan Gonzalez (East Berkshire) and Daniel Butteriss (Beaconsfield) had steady rounds with both of them dropping shots on the last and finishing with 72’s. Kaylan snuck into the lead in the U16’s gross event on count back. Will Hunt (Chartridge Park) had 3 birdies on the back nine on his way to shooting 73, net 65! Archie Sollis (Cotswold Club) birdied 17 and 18 to shoot 72 and finish 2 shots ahead of Josh Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross). Oliver O’Dell had a steady round to shoot 79 and set a clubhouse lead in the U12’s gross event. Oliver’s 79 couldn’t get beaten, a great win for Oliver in the U12’s. Congratulations to Oliver (U12), Archie (U14) and Kaylan (U16) on their wins!
