U16 Futures Tour Buckingham

The Futures Tour returned to Buckingham on Thursday 24th August. It was a strong field playing for Order of Merit points before the curtain closer at Frilford Heath in October. Alfie Burt (Wexham Park) had a steady round with a birdie up the last secure the U16’s gross prize with a 73, three shots ahead of Archie Sollis (Tadmarton Heath). Rohan Gill (Burnham Beeches) made very few mistakes on his way to shooting 77 – nett 67 to win the U16’s nett prize, one shot in front of Olly Hunt (Hazlemere). Isaac Hayes’ (Feldon Valley) consistency paid off as he finished with a gross 76 which sat just ahead of Gus Leetham (Buckingham). Himal Gurung (Woburn) continued his fine form shooting nett 68 taking the top spot in the U14’s nett category.

Under 12 & 14 County Champion, Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) shot 78 to set a clubhouse target for the U12’s. Sebastian won the U12’s gross prize and Emile Cuanalo (Frilford Heath) won the nett prize with a 69.
