Junior Champion Club – National Final

Junior Champion Club – National Final

Back in May we held a qualifier for the BB&O Junior Champion Club at Hazlemere Golf Club. With fine performances from Matthew Gough, Oliver O’Dell and Henry Plant, The Springs stormed to victory and qualified for the National Championships at Woodhall Spa.

Despite only having the opportunity to play the challenging Bracken Course once before the competition, they put in a very strong performance and finished third behind Links Newmarket and Radnor Golf Club. Their third place from a field of 32 teams (the strongest in the country) is testament to their close team bond and competition experience – all three boys compete regularly on the BB&O Futures Tour and Oliver is one of the strongest members of the BB&O U14 County Team.
