Rory wins Autumn Trophy

The annual BB&O Autumn Trophy took place at Lambourne Golf Club on Sunday 10th September. It was a strong field with some of the best amateurs in the county playing alongside the BB&O professionals. The professionals and amateurs play together competing for the BB&O Open Championship. Charley Walker (Burnham Beeches) set the pace in the Autumn Trophy by shooting 74 (+2). Trevor Jones (Professional) started strong shooting -3 on the back nine to shoot 69 and take the lead in the BB&O Open Championship. Harry Thomas (Frilford Heath) had a steady round shooting 72 (level). Harry didn’t stay at the top of the leaderboard for long as Rory Browne had four 4 birdies in the last 6 holes to lift the Autumn Trophy. Rory’s 69 (-3) just fell shy in the BB&O Open Championship as Ian Campbell (Professional) shot 67 (-5).

Congratulations to Rory Browne and Ian Campbell for winning the Autumn Trophy & Open Championship.
