BB&O representation at the 117th US Open

BB&O representation at the 117th US Open

Last week was the 117th US Open at Erin Hills, Wisconsin. You might be wondering what this prestigious Major Championship has to do with BB&O. We had not one but two ex BB&O players participating, Tyrrell Hatton and Eddie Pepperell. This is something we are very proud to have been a small part of and we watched all four days with great interest. Unfortunately Tyrrell missed the cut but did feature in The European Tours top 10 shots of the week with his incredible 100 yard hole out for eagle.

Eddie fared better and despite having to qualify for the event two weeks prior at Walton Heath, he went on to achieve a remarkable finish of T16. This fantastic achievement was made even sweeter by Eddie partnering The 2017 Masters Champion and boyhood idol Sergio Garcia on Sunday. This career best finish in a major has given Eddie a huge boost in the Race To Dubai standings where he now sits in 71st position.

We want to take this opportunity to congratulate and wish both Tyrrell and Eddie all the best for the rest of the season and we hope to see both your names on the first page of leaderboards for many years to come. Eddie & Tyrrell sporting the BB&O logo in their junior days.
