BB&O take the lead!

After a break from competitive golf, BB&O players are leading the way in the Tillman Trophy and Faldo Series.

In the Tillman Trophy at FoxHills Golf Club, first team squad member Olly Huggins (Frilford Heath) is leading the way by 2 shots on -9 after following up his opening round 68 (-4) with an impressive 67 (-5). Will Shakleton (Buckinghamshire) shot a first round 77 (+5)  followed by an impressive 68 (-4) to make the cut on +1. 

Under 18 squad member Charlie Roper (The Berkshire) shot 76 (+4) and 71 (-1) to just miss out on making the cut. 

After 3 rounds Olly has a share of the lead alongside Ben Schmidt and Arron Edwards-Hill on -8, after shooting a +1 third round. Good luck for the final round Olly!

Olly shot a final round 71 (-1) to finish T-3 on -9. A solid performance to restart the season!

BB&O had great representation at the Midlands Boys Faldo Series at Kedleston Golf Club with 4 boys making the cut to the final round. After 3 rounds Carl Banner (Beaconsfield) was crowned overall winner after going to a play off. Carl shot 71, 71 & 69 to finish on -5. Ben Quick (Beaconsfield) took the U21 prize shooting 70, 74 & 68 (-4). Beaconsfield members James Casserly and Tom Bell both finished T38 on +11 after making the cut. Well played – great results!
