BB&O V Essex

BB&O V Essex

On Sunday 13th May, the BB&O First Team played their first league match of 2018 against Essex away at Chelmsford GC.

Essex fielded a very strong team at the beautifully presented Chelmsford Golf Club. The strength of the team coupled with the fact that a number of team members were home players at Chelmsford meant that the task ahead was always going to be a challenge. Essex (the South Eastern Foursomes Champions at Seacroft) continued that form with a clean sweep in the foursomes and some impressive scoring in the singles proved too much with Essex running out 10.5 to 1.5 winners over BB&O.
