Ben shoots 67 to win at Temple

The sun was shining for our second Futures Tour event, where we welcomed 54 boys to Temple Golf Club. In the under 12 division, Harvey Cooper (Huntercombe) came second with a nett 74 just one shot behind Oliver Kelloway (Woburn) with a nett 73. Alfie Westbrook (Frilford Heath) stormed to victory in the gross category breaking 80 for the first time shooting a very impressive 78 off a 23 handicap, 7 shots ahead of Daniel Butteriss (Wexham Park) who shot 85.

In the Under 14 division, Ben Pusey (Wexham Park) shot a nett 69 to win the nett prize on count back to Jack Parry (Huntercombe). Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) maintained his good form and won the gross prize shooting 73. Charlie Hing (Castle Royle) had a hole in one on route to a gross 75 to finish second. Freddie Horner came second in the Under 16 division with a nett 65, 1 shot behind Ollie Maynard (Drayton Park) who took the nett prize with a score of 64. Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath) shot a solid 70 gross to finish second. Ben Loveard (Stoke Park) shot an impressive 67 to take the trophy in the gross category.
