Boys Home Internationals

Two BB&O Juniors have been selected to represent England at the upcoming Home Internationals at Royal Dornoch between 7th – 9th August. Junior Elite Captain Harrison Arnold (Castle Royle) & Conor Gough (Stoke Park) will do battle against Scotland, Ireland & Wales. Both players have tasted success this year with Conor winning the Fairhaven & McGregor Trophies and Harrison securing the McEvoy Trophy at Copt Heath. We wish both boys the very best of luck and see below for the full England team: 

Harrison Arnold, 18, (Castle Royle, BB&O) is the current leader of the England Golf boys’ order of merit and won the U18 Peter McEvoy Trophy. 
 
Barclay Brown, 17, pictured, (Hallamshire, Yorkshire) has just won the English U18 boys’ open championship for the Carris Trophy. 
 
Matthew Freeman, 17, (Notts, Nottinghamshire) is a new cap who had a top ten finish in the Carris Trophy.
 
Harry Goddard, 18 (Hanbury Manor, Hertfordshire) is an experienced boy international and has has been in England’s winning teams for the past two years.
 
Conor Gough, 15 (Stoke Park, BB&O) has won the English U16 boys’ open for the McGregor Trophy and the Fairhaven Trophies. 
 
Josh Hill, 14, is Dubai-based and another new cap. He was 10th in the McGregor Trophy and a strong challenger in the Carris Trophy, eventually finishing 11th. 
 
Max Hopkins, 15, (Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire) has recently represented England in the European Young Masters and the European team championships.  
 
Habebul Islam, 17, (Ipswich Suffolk) is another new cap who was third in the Tillman Trophy and fourth in the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters.
 
Curtis Knipes, 17 (Abridge, Kent) is a new cap who was fifth in the Berkshire Trophy and eighth in the Hampshire Salver. 
 
Joe Pagdin, 16, is Florida based and has had a string of high finishes in USA events and was in England’s winning boys’ team of 2017.
 
Robin Williams, 16, (Peterborough Milton, Northamptonshire), was third in the Sage Valley invitational in the US and made the match play stages of the Amateur Championship.
