Brabazon Qualifying 2024

The Brabazon Trophy is the English Strokeplay Championship and will take place at Hollinwell from 23rd to 26th May. Qualifying events took place in the north, Nuneaton Golf Club in the midlands and at Marlborough Golf Club for the south of England.

BB&O had a number of players competing at Marlborough where Drew Rolfe (Calcot Park) shot 69 (-3) and both Charlie Rob (Buckingham) and Tommy Evans (Beaconsfield) shot 70 (-2) to qualify.

Carl Banner (Beaconsfield) shot 71 to narrowly miss out and Rory Browne (Feldon Valley) was just a shot behind at level par.

Seasoned campaigner John Kemp (Woburn) also qualified by travelling up to Nuneaton and shooting level par to finish 11th and comfortably within the top 16 who qualified there.

Conor Gough (Wexham Park Golf Club) and Mark Stockdale (Woburn) both have automatic exemptions and didn’t have to qualify.
