Edward wins at Maidenhead

The first Futures Tour event at Maidenhead saw 43 boys competing for the trophy. The weather stayed dry until the very last hole, the storms passed and we were able to get all the boys in. In the Under 12 category Harvey Cooper (Huntercombe) shot a gross 86 to win by 3 shots ahead of Archie Sollis (Cotswolds Club). Marcus Smith (Burnham Beeches) had a solid round and won the nett prize with a 68. 

Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) shot 74 to take the U14 gross prize ahead of Billy Wood (Stoke Park) who shot 75. Finnian Leigh (Frilford Heath) took the clubhouse lead in the U14 nett category with a 67. Alex Keen (Wexham Park) matched Finnian’s 67 and won the nett prize on count back. Luke Perkins (Frilford Heath) shot a gross 71 which fell just short. Edward Davis (Studley Wood) had a fantastic level par gross 70 to win the U16 prize. Edward Wang (Castle Royle) shot a nett 69 falling 1 behind David Fosh (Hazlemere) who won the nett prize.
