England Golf Champion of Champions

England Golf Champion of Champions

BB&O’s Boys, Men’s and Senior Champions competed at the England Golf Champion of Champions event at Woodhall Spa on the 16th & 17th September. Charlie Herbert (Harewood Downs) who won his junior title at Buckinghamshire performed very well in the weather affected event. He finished in 8th position after scoring a gross 74. David Niven (Newbury & Crookham) who went into the event as defending National Champion wasn’t unable to repeat his victory but did finish in a credible 14th place after rounds of 81 & 76. David won his Seniors title at Burnham Beeches. Tim Shin (Castle Royle) who won The BB&O Amateur Championship at Frilford Heath finished in an agonising second place after a fine round of 70. Well done to all 3 on winning their respective titles and performing well on the National stage.
