Futures Tour Ellesborough

On a bright but cool day the first Futures Tour event of the year was held at the beautiful Ellesborough Golf Club. In the Under 12 section Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) led the way with an 86 with Conor Jacob (Reading) six shots behind in second place. In the net competition Jack Chantry (Deanwood Park) won and Joseph Lawton (East Berkshire) was second.

Ben Loveard (Woburn) shot a gross 81 to win the Under 14 section with Harry Thomas (Drayton Park) in second place. The handicap winner was Thomas Owen (North Oxford) with a fantastic net 65 and second was Harrison Coleman (Newbury & Crookham).

In the Under 15s Carl Banner (Stoke Park) shot the best round of the day and his 75 finished 4 shots ahead of Archie Smith (Caversham Heath) and Aiden Benger (Studley Wood). Aiden won the handicap section ahead of Rhodri Lewis (Newbury & Crookham) who was runner up.
