Futures Tour Hadden Hill

The penultimate Futures Tour event of the season took place at Hadden Hill on Sunday 28th September. This was the sixth event of the series with a full field of players after being heavily oversubscribed. The increase in the Tour’s popularity is helping to generate a competitive environment for the players to thrive. The conditions and tight tree lined fairways proved a challenge for the competitors. Within the U12’s division it’s great to see the boys progressing from the Development Tour to competing in their first Futures Tour event. Current Order of Merit leader, Arthur Scott (The Caversham) snuck ahead of Arthur Hodgson (Kirtlington) on count back as they both shot 78 in the U12’s gross division. Vinnie James (Drayton Park) got off to a flying start in the U14’s division but a few drop shots in the final holes left him trailing Troy Buttimer (Frilford Heath) by 1 shot. Jack Isard (Frilford Heath) had a steady day on the course shooting 75 to secure the U16’s victory.

Congratulations to Arthur, Troy & Jack on winning their divisions!
