Junior League Success

After a successful performance in the South Eastern Group Leagues, the BB&O U16’s and U18’s found themselves in the League Final.

The U16’s League Final took place at Haywards Heath Golf Club where they took on strong opponents – Hertfordshire & Surrey. Earlier in the season BB&O defeated Surrey in the annual MUGS match at West Hill but they came out fighting in the league final winning 5-3. Surrey beat Hertfordshire to clinch the SEG League title – congratulations! A special mention goes to U14 squad member, Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) who won both his games, Ollie O’Dell (The Springs) & Thomas James (Frilford Heath) who won 1.5 points.

BB&O, Surrey & Bedfordshire all headed to Harleyford Golf Club for the final of the SEG U18 League. The matches were nip and tuck all the way making it almost impossible to guess the outcome. After all the matches were finished it turned out to be closer than we thought as every match finished 4-4. With each county tied, it all came down to the result in the first match. Jamie McGeoch (The Berkshire) went out number 1 for BB&O and secured a win against Surrey & Bedfordshire. Jamie’s strong performance secured BB&O the League title!

Congratulations to the BB&O U18’s who were crowned SEG League Winners!
