Josh is crowned U25 Champion

The very best U25 golfers returned to Huntercombe Golf Club in the pouring rain to compete for their chance to be crowned 2025 champion. The damp conditions proved challenging but not for Vinnie James (Drayton Park) who stormed through the field with a 74 nett 61. Vinnie’s -9 par net 61 won him the nett title and trophy to match.

Congratulations Vinnie!

Vinnie and James Harris (Burford) stayed the top of the leaderboard with scores of 74 until Freddie Wheeler (Tadmarton Heath) came in. Freddie had a very steady level par back nine to shoot 72. Drew Rolfe (Calcot Park) shot level par but Daniel Butteriss (Beaconsfield) managed to finished just ahead on count back. Josh Beck (Castle Royle) had a strong recovery from an early triple bogey, and a birdie on the last snuck him into the lead with a -1 par 69. Under 16 squad captain, Josh Waldegrave (Beaconsfield) started his round with a bogey but improved from there as he steadied the ship with 14 pars and 3 birdies on his way to firing a -2 par 68 to clinch the title.

Congratulations to Josh on being crowned the BB&O U25 Champion!
