Junior Champion Club

The 2018 Junior Champion was held at Tadmarton Heath in Oxfordshire. We were fortunate that the wet weather stayed away and the course was set up beautifully. There was a very strong entry of 23 clubs and 68 players with the format of the best 2 from 3 net scores. In third place was the Mill Ride trio of Oliver Cherrill, Jack Core & Mackenzie Joyce whose combined net score was -3. In second and with a combined net total of -5 was Newbury & Crookham who team consisted of Jack Graham, Rhodri Lewis & Andrew Mead. The winners who go on to represent BB&O in the England Golf finals at Frilford Heath in August are Woburn. The Woburn trio of Rubin Das, Jacob Fawcett & Fred Gillard who’s combined score of -7 sealed the victory. Rubin’s net score of 60 (-9) was the best of the day. Special thanks must go to Tadmarton Heath for all their efforts during the tournament. We wish Woburn all the best in the National Final in August.
