Logan wins at Kirtlington

Logan wins at Kirtlington

The weather stayed dry but windy at the Kirtlington Blenheim course. In very challenging conditions, a slightly reduced field played some excellent golf and opened the Development Tour season.

Our Nett winner was Jack Isard who, with a score of 46 beat Stanley Spicer by a shot.

The gross event was hotly contested by the last couple of groups out. Stanley Spicer and Himal Gurung both shot very good 69s only to be edged out by a shot when Logan Matthews two putted from 30 feet for a 68. Himal had put the pressure on with a great par up the demanding last hole and after a poor chip, Logan showed his metal by staying calm and winning by the narrowest of margin
