Melan Dhaubhadel (Calcot Park) continued his fine form with a 1 under par 69 to beat Andrew Mead (Newbury & Crookham) by 2 shots in the Under 15s event. Harry Oddy (Buckingham) took the first handicap prize with a nett 68. This secures the Order of Merit for Melan.

In the Under 14s, scoring at the top of the leaderboard was very impressive with Aidan Benger (Studley Wood) leading the way with 70 and Struan Hancock (Stoke Park) following close behind with 71. Carl Banner leads the Order of Merit but it looks like going down to the wire with fellow Stoke Park member Taylor Paul only 6.25 points behind. The best handicap score was returned by Harry Gale (Goring & Streatley) with a nett 67.

The Under 12s battle between Tom Stephenson-Green (Studley Wood) and Ben McFadden (Stoke Park) continued with Tom winning by 3 from Ben with a score of 80. The best nett score went to Ollie Lewis with a 66. Even with this victory the Order of Merit seems to be Ben’s to lose as we head off towards Frilford Heath on the 26th October.
