Order of Merit Update

Order of Merit Update

The Order of Merit is well underway with the Frilford Heath Gold Medal & Tadmarton Heath Beaumont Pease being played over the last week. The Frilford Heath Gold Medal was played on Thursday 10th June with a strong field of 67 players. It was a great performance for our BB&O players, with Alfie Forisky (Maidenhead) lifting the trophy after two solid rounds of 71 (-1) to finish -2. Alfie was 4 shots head of Ignatius McGuiness (Harleyford) and Ryan Greenwood (Tadmarton Heath) who both finished on +2.

The Tadmarton Heath Beaumont Pease was played on Saturday 12th June, with the sun shining 86 players competed for those all important Order of Merit points. Ryan Greenwood (Tadmarton Heath) used his home advantage to continue his fine form and finished 1 shot shy of lifting the trophy. Paul McMullen (Frilford Heath) was -5 heading to the 18th tee, with not a bogey yet recorded on the card Paul was set for a 64. Unfortunately Paul took a 7 down the last and so a 64 was not meant to be, however a 67 was still enough to claim the victory!
