Seacroft Foursomes

The BB&O Ten Man Team opened their Seacroft Foursomes account in a typically slow fashion. With a 4-1 loss to Leicestershire & Rutland and a 4.5 – 0.5 loss to Essex, they languished at the bottom of the nine team table.

Unlike last year though, under the captaincy of Ashley Walton (Frilford Heath) they ground out a number of important points in the afternoon session. With all players contributing to the points tally, and two wins from Langley & Browne and Ashberry & Batty, BB&O scored 7.5 points out of a possible 10.

Their 9 points total after Day 1 left the team in 5th position but in touch with a possible top three position.

The team at Seacroft is Tim Shin (Castle Royle), George Bell (Harewood Downs), David Langley (Castle Royle), Rory Browne (Feldon Valley), Rymer Smith (Buckinghamshire), Craig Buttivant (Gerrards Cross), Harrison Arnold (East Berkshire), Aarin Siddell (Sonning), Aaron Ashberry (Burford) and Adam Batty (Beaconsfield)
