Seb wins at Maidenhead

The Futures Tour headed to Maidenhead on Thursday 15th August where the wind proved to be a challenge. Sebastian Maher (Castle Royle) went out early and set the pace by shooting a fantastic score of nett 64 to lead the U14s division, Lucas Skidmore (The West Berkshire) sat 3 shots back on 67.  Aaron Chana (Calcot Park) had a steady back nine to finish with a gross 84 to take the top spot in the U12’s division until Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) continued his winning streak by securing the U12’s prize after carding a very impressive score of 69 (-1). Logan Matthews (Bearwood Lakes) birdied the last hole to card 75 to take the lead in the U14’s until Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) came in 2 shots lower to clinch the prize. Matthew Gough (The Springs) had 8 straight 4’s on the back nine on his way to shooting 73 in the U16’s. However, Josh Waldegrave continued his fine form to sneak ahead on count back in the U16’s. Congratulations to Seb, Isaac and Josh on winning their respective age division.
