Simon wins at Cotswolds Club

The sun shining was at The Cotswolds Club for the next Futures Tour event of the 2021 season. The course was a great test for the boys, however Thomas James (Frilford Heath) made it look easy with a net 68 winning the U12 category by 2 shots ahead of Aziz Chaudhary (Wexham Park). Jakob Payne (Bicester) shot a solid 86 to take home the U12 gross prize ahead of Sander Andreasen (Wexham Park).

Oliver Kelloway (Woburn) and Daniel Butteriss (Beaconsfield) were battling it out for the U14 gross category, with Daniel sneaking 1 shot ahead to lift the trophy. Home advantage came into play for Archie Sollis (Cotswolds Club) as he went round in a net 68, 4 shots ahead of Freddie Wheeler (Tadmarton Heath). Joe Getley (Harewood Downs) was leading the way in the U16 gross category until Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) came in with a great round of 73 to top the leaderboard. Stanley Kay (Cotswolds Club) used his knowledge of his home course to win the net prize with a 69 ahead of Liam Heath (Tadmarton Heath).

Congratulations to all the winners today!
