U12 v U13 Friendly Match

With some impressive golf played by both sides and the help of a few “Bisques” the BB&O Under 12s managed to defeat the Under 13s by 4 points to 1. Both the spirit in which the game was played as well as the quality of golf on show indicated just how promising the future is for the County.

For the Under 13s, Huw Pearson (Buckingham) & Harry Gale (Goring and Streatley) defeated Tom Stephenson-Green (Studley Wood) and Freddie Bearman (Bearwood Lakes). For the Under 12s, Oliver Gouldby (Hadden Hill) & Luke Perkins (Frilford Heath) beat Finlay Szafnauer (Frilford Heath)and Charlie Roper (The Berkshire), Simon Mead (Newbury & Crookham) & Joseph Lawton (East Berkshire) got the better of Jake Shepherd (Gerrards Cross) and Leo Allen (Henley). Kester Harvey (Wokefield Park) & Mackenzie Beilby (East Berkshire) defeated Ben Withall (Wexham Park) & Patrick Lawton (East Berkshire) and finally Matthew Hayes (Wexham Park) & Conor Jacob (Reading) overcame Harvey Dobson (Wexham Park) and Luca Crooks (Castle Royle).

In an interview following the match, Derek Wilson (Under 13 Manager) simply said “We wuzz robbed!!”
