Kemp is English Senior Stroke Play Champion

John Kemp (Woburn) competed in the English Senior Men’s Stroke Play Championship at Woodall Spa between 4th – 6th June alongside 17 others representing BB&O clubs. After 36 holes in challenging conditions, four players made the cut. Mark Bradley (Henley) had to unfortunately withdraw before starting the third round due to injury. Tim Whittaker (Beaconsfield) finished T40. Stewart Dalgarno (The Wychwood) shot a final round level par to finish T27. John shot a very impressive -4 (69) on day 2 to throw himself back into contention after a +4 first round. A final round of 72 (-1) placed John in a three man play off for the title. John edged to victory on the second play off hole to win the title back to back!

Congratulations to John on this fantastic achievement!
