Chris is crowned Champion!

The BB&O 25 & Over Championship got underway at The Wychwood Golf Club with a strong field representing clubs from across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Played in excellent conditions on a well-presented course, the championship once again highlighted the depth of talent across the three counties. The Wychwood provided a fair but testing challenge, rewarding solid ball-striking and good course management from the outset.

With early-season form on display, the competition began in a positive and competitive spirit, setting the tone for an engaging day of county golf. Will Kendall (Denham) set the pace as he finished with 2 birdies in the final 3 holes to shoot 73 (+1). Oliver Dodsworth (Bicester) had a solid front nine but 3 late bogeys meant he finished on 74. Chris Rowe (Flackwell Heath) had a late flurry of birdies to sneak ahead on level par with only 1 group left to finish. The final 3 couldn’t match Chris’ 73 and so Chris was crowned the 25 & Over Champion!

Congratulations to Chris on a fantastic achievement!
