BB&O mourns the sad loss of David Cromie

We are sorry to announce the sad passing of David Cromie. David had recently retired from his managers position at East Berkshire Golf Club, and was all set to continue competing in elite senior golf. He represented BB&O County Seniors, and was part of the victorious Six Man team that won the national final. He will be missed by all within golf.

The funeral will take place on Saturday 10th June at 14:00 at Bryansford Parish Church, Bryansford Village, Newcastle, Co Down BT33 0PJ, with tea afterwards in Newcastle (location tbc but will be printed on the back of the Order of Service).

There will be an ‘open house’ wake on Friday 9th at the home of David’s daughter, Helen, and her husband, Gary.  This is a local tradition and everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects should they wish.  Their address is: 12 Church Vale, Kilkeel, Co Down BT34 4YS.  Kilkeel is a 30min drive south of Newcastle.

Bryansford is about a 4min drive from Newcastle.  There is parking at the church on the right side of the drive leading up to the church and plenty of parking along the main road too.
