Seb wins U12 Futures Tour

The BB&O Futures Tour kick started the season at Ellesborough Golf Club on Wednesday 3rd April. It was a damp, blustery and cold start to the day which proved challenging for the players. Archie Sollis (Tadmarton Heath) had a good back nine to help him shoot 77 and take the top spot in the U16’s gross category. Henry Plant (The Springs) finished in second place just 1 shot back. Freddie Mackintosh (Ellesborough) finished with a 70 (-1) in the nett U16’s category to sneak ahead of Henry Plant on count back. Himal Gurung (Woburn) had a steady round finishing with a 78 (nett level par) to take the top spot in the U14’s category. Isaac Hayes (Feldon Valley) ended up just two shots back in second place. The conditions were difficult and the course was playing long for our youngest players, but Sebastian Duffield (Sand Martins) continued to dominate as he did last season by shooting 78 and taking the top spot in the  U12’s division. Luke Waldegrave (Gerrards Cross) secured second place in the U12’s with Beau Wheeler (Burford) in third.

Thank you to Ellesborough for hosting the event and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next one!
